My goodness! It's been over a year since I posted anything here on the blog! tsk tsk! Time to get caught up...but not in any particular order.
First of all I want to say what a surprise this year has been for me and the business. I was considering shutting it all down, to be honest, because I just didn't know which direction to take it. Then, this wonderful thing happened! I started giving some discounted senior portrait sessions as graduation gifts and that is all she wrote. I ended up shooting 20 different senior/teen sessions this year and I am LOVING it! I have found my niche and it makes me immensely happy to be so content with what I am doing.
So, without any more chatter, here are the pics!
Camden is one of my neighbors in our wonderful, small community and he is a remarkable guy! He is an accomplished tennis player and in National Honors Society at Sequoyah High School. Brilliant, athletic, motivated, and kind - do kids get any greater than that? I think not!

I was nervous that we wouldn't be able to do this maternity session outside like I had hoped. After all, we were in the middle of winter. What were the chances we'd get a warm, dry day in the middle of January? ... I must have forgotten that I live in Atlanta, GA where the weather is as unpredictable as what outfits my children will wear or what they want to eat from day to day! For this session the weather was unbelievably cooperative and the couple is just as cute as they come!

Kelsey is an aspiring and already very talented photographer. I have the unique privilege of getting to be her facilitator for her senior project this year and I have enjoyed every single minute I've gotten to spend with this beautiful young woman!

Ashlyn is our go-to babysitter. In fact, we consider her a part of our family and love her very much! I truly can not imagine my life without her. She is a joy to be around and the most helpful, cooperative, fun teenager I've ever met. I took these pictures of her and one of her best friends, Lexie, around Ashlyn's 17th birthday.
And just a couple from our family vacation...
